Noun

*mȋrъ m

  1. peace
  2. world

From Proto-Balto-Slavic *meiˀrás, from Proto-Indo-European *meyH-ró-s, ultimately from Proto-Indo-European *mey- (“to tie”). Cognates include Lithuanian mieras (“peace”), Latvian miêrs (“peace”), Albanian mirë (“good”), Latin mītis (“mild, calm, peaceful”). See also Ancient Greek μίτος (mítos, “warp thread”), Old Persian 𐎷𐎰𐎼 (mi-θ-r), and Sanskrit मित्र (mitra).

Mir, with an “i”, means peace and world in the Slavic languages and it is the name of the very famous Soviet space station. Myr, with a “y”, is the unit measure for Million Years and also a gender-neutral title.

In Space and Time, through our most human conditions, possibly all in Harmony.

WELCOME TO MYR

Hi there,
My practice is currently NOT active, and I am NOT taking on new journeys.
I am deeply thankful to everyone who worked with me all these years and if you were considering doing so. You can still reach out if you wish to talk about something else.

In case, in advance: deeply

THANK YOU.
